Managing Member

Bo Goebel

Bo is an active-duty, US Army Infantry Officer and real estate investor. He has been investing in real estate since 2015 and has experience include short-term rentals, small multifamily, as well as his main focus of commercial multifamily.

Bo is the Managing Member of Riverside Investment Group- a values-based real estate investment firm. He is passionate about providing immense value to residents, investors, and the communities they serve.

Bo is enthusiastically pursuing the goal of 1,000 units under management in the next 5 years.

Bo is currently a Captain in the US Army, where he serves as an Infantry Officer. He is currently serving as the Commander of an Infantry Company of 260 Soldiers at Ft. Benning, GA. His other military positions and accolades include graduation from Ranger School, a deployment to Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, and the leader of the “Presidential Escort Platoon” as a member of the prestigious “Old Guard” in Washington D.C.

His other real estate experience includes short-term rental properties, house-hacking, and BRRRR method. He currently has $3.4 million AUM.

Bo’s married to the most wonderful women he knows, Tara Layne and has two children and is expecting their third in March 2021.

Scott Edmond

Scott Edmond is an active real estate investor with ownership in a variety of product types including multifamily, self-storage and manufactured housing communities.

Scott Edmond is an active real estate investor with ownership in a variety of product types including multifamily, self-storage and manufactured housing communities. Scott is holds an Indiana Real Estate Broker’s license, a Kentucky Salesperson’s license, is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Indiana Association of REALTORS®, Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS®, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Indiana Apartment Association and the CCIM Institute. Scott became a CCIM designee in 2015.

As a Senior Advisor with a national brokerage company, Scott specializes in commercial investment real estate sales and consulting, and has earned national recognition including a spot in firms President’s Club, and has received the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors “Rookie of the Year” and “Transaction of the Year” awards.

Prior to becoming a real estate investor, Scott spent 21 years as a Vice President for a national bank originating financing for large investment real estate projects. In this role he gained experience in transaction underwriting, finance, construction and an extensive understanding of cash flow models and metrics that are critical to real estate investment.

Like Bo, Scott is passionate about real estate investing and growing a portfolio of quality Midwest assets. Scott believes that applying a professional and customized management strategy to each property is key to unlocking hidden value.

Outside of work, Scott volunteers with many community organizations and is past President of of HOPE Inc., a non-profit organization that provides first-time homebuyer education, foreclosure prevention counseling, and sponsors Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects. Scott and his wife Holly reside in Evansville with their two sons Kaiden and Jaxon, daughter Bailee, and two grandchildren.

Jason Stubblefield

Jason has over a decade of experience in real estate investing. He is a general partner in over 900 multifamily units, and specializes in underwriting and business plan development.

Jason has been investing in real estate for over 10 years. He started with single family homes and eventually obtained his residential real estate license with Keller Williams. Jason has since moved into the multifamily real estate investing space and is a general partner in over 900 multifamily units. He has over 11 years experience in software development and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Memphis. He is also a United States Marine Corps veteran.

Chris Barnhizer

Chris is a founding partner of Richland Building Partners, based out of Nashville, TN. He has been on the construction/development of nearly $300 million SFHs, commercial multifamily, and mixed-use properties in the past decade.

Chris is the founding partner of Richland Building Partners, LLC. He has lead Richland to become one of the fastest growing builders in the Nashville area. He started with a custom builder in 2008 then transitioned into a role at Dan Ryan where he spent six years and built over 300+ homes. Under his leadership, Richland over the next three years will be working over with over $100 million + in project value in the greater Nashville area alone.

Tara Layne

Tara Layne has worked in the event planning business for more than 7 years and heads the design and short term rental aspects for Riverside Investment Group. She is fanatical about customer service and has achieved Superhost status on sites like Airbnb.

Tara Layne is the head of design and manages all short-term rental developments within Riverside Investment Group. With years of experience in the corporate event planning industry, Tara Layne is passionate about providing a memorable experience to all guests. She has successfully on-boarded five short-term rental properties, while earning Superhost status on sites like Airbnb. Tara Layne handles all design, layout, staging, permitting, guest communication, and day to day operations of the properties. With a background in the arts, Tara Layne knows that customer service and guest experience is paramount to building the business.
